SPCA Picks Up Win Number Nine

The SPCA/Blue Ridge Softball Parks and Recreation Team moved their record to 9-0 on the season with a 18-1 win over LP2.  Emily Wilson and Darian Edwards combined to allow no hits in the game, surrendering just one unearned run in the contest.  Six SPCA batters had two hits each, while Kayla Mitchell had three RBI's along with Emily Wilson and Logan Morris having two each.  Megan Hankins, along with Mitchell, scored three times, with Jamara Barbour, Abria Johnson, Darian Edwards, Morris, and Wilson each scored twice.
