HOW CAN I HELP MY SPCA?
Caring for the over 2000 animals in need each year is an expensive endeavor, and your generous donation today will help further our mission. Donating to the SPCA of Martinsville & Henry County is an investment in your community because your entire donation is used locally to benefit the animals of our area.
Did you know that the ASPCA is not an umbrella organization? If you give to them, your donation will not be distributed locally. When you give to the SPCA of Martinsville & Henry County, you help animals right here in Southside Virginia.
The SPCA of Martinsville & Henry County is a private, non-profit organization which receives no funding from the government, United Way or national animal welfare organizations. We rely on the generosity of the community we serve to support us and the many services we provide. With 40 years of service to the animals and people of Martinsville, Henry County and surrounding counties, the SPCA of Martinsville and Henry County has a long-standing record of careful stewardship of funds.

Honorariums and Memorials
Animals are dear to many people’s hearts. What better way to honor or memorialize someone than with a gift to the SPCA of Martinsville & Henry County? We receive honorariums for birthdays, marriages, every day accomplishments and even a few BARK Mitzvahs! Memorials are a great way to remember a beloved pet or loved one and their love for animals. Please remember to include the name of the person or pet in whose name the donation is being made and who you would like the card sent to.

Be an Animal Friend
One of the easiest and most cost effective ways is through our Monthly Giving Program. This program offers donors the opportunity to give a monthly gift directly from your debit or credit card. This is a cost effective way to help us because we are able to save money on mailing costs. It’s easy for the donor because you don’t have to remember to send in that gift you’ve been meaning to send in!

Additional Ways to Help the Shelter!
Cash for Clunkers
Donating your vehicle is great way to help the animals of our community and a great tax deduction for you. We accept vehicles through our Cash for Clunkers program. If they run…great! If they don’t run…that’s ok too. We will arrange for your clunker to be picked up and recycled for cash for the SPCA. Fresh Step Reward Points
